The Powrtouch All Wheel Drive Twin axle caravan mover (Developed from the Powrlaunch) drives all four wheels of the caravan; this model is required where the twin axle caravan is over 1700 kgs (MTPLM), may be used on a steep slope, turning uphill or on uneven ground (where the drive wheels may lift off the ground).Will fit the majority of all twin axle caravans. When fitting this Powrtouch mover special attention should be paid to heating and water pipes and they can interfere with the fitting and may need to be moved by an approved caravan dealer. NOTE: The ALKO jacking points will have to be removed and an alternative method of jacking the caravan sought (for further advice see Caravan Club Handbook Technical Section).

Powractuator

Powrwheel Limited has a policy of continuous product improvement and will listen to suggestions for this from any source including customers. The company were being asked by everybody (Dealers, Customers etc.) as to why we could not make the roller engagement system automatic. The design team were set to work again and this proved to be a little more difficult than we thought and several different systems were tested and discarded. The reason we encountered design problems was that the decision was taken that the Powractuator must be capable of being retrospectively fitted to any previously manufactured model of Powrtouch. The Powractuator system to meet all the requirements of the design concept was put on the Market at the NEC Caravan Show in October 2007, and has proven to be very a very successful addition (optional extra) to the Powrtouch system capabilities.
